The resort has three swimming pools fit for different ages. There is a splash pool for the toddlers, a deeper pool with three small slides for the kids, and three larger slides at the larger pool for the older kids.

The entire family can join in on this fun activity. The eight-hole mini-golf course is shaped in the letters of ‘Kam’Bati’ and can be trickier than expected! Clubs and balls are available at the camp shop.

Our on-site Pizza Restaurant “Peckish” is open from Mondays to Saturdays, 09h00 to 18h00 and Sundays from 09h00 to 16h30. It's the perfect spot for a quick bite next to the swimming pools while the kids take a dip. It’s especially known for its delicious, wood-fired pizzas, so don’t miss out!

Guests love catch-and-release fishing on the riverbanks. The Breede River is full of carp and bass and guests come from all over for a relaxing weekend of fishing. Remember to bring along your bait, fishing rod, and gear.

Have a drink at the camp bar on weekends. Here we broadcast the most popular sporting events of the weekend, so you don’t have to miss out. Please note our lounge and bar are only open over weekends.

Wear comfortable hiking shoes that can get a little muddy.

Take a windbreaker or some wind/waterproof clothing along in the case of rain or changes in weather.

Take drinking water and power food along on your hike. Bananas, chocolates, or mixed nuts and seeds will give you that boost of extra energy.

Avoid hiking alone! No matter how experienced you are, tell someone which trail you are taking, and your planned route as well as departure and arrival times.

Please do not pick any flowers, damage any plants or change the natural environment in any way.

Please do not leave any litter anywhere on the farm. Animals eating plastic and litter could be seriously injured or even fatally harmed. Bottle tops, beer and cool drink bottles, and cigarette butts have nothing to offer the earth. Please do not leave them behind.

No smoking is allowed on the trails.

Canoeing at Kam’Bati River Resort is a fun way to enjoy the beautiful Breede River. Canoes, paddlers, and life jackets can be rented from reception (safety gear is compulsory). This is not a guided activity.

Cost: Adults: R300 per person, per hour. Kids (under 13): R150 per person. Recovery fee: R1000 per person if the canoe is not returned to the point of departure.
